A most remarkable event is set to take place on Tuesday, April 17th in New York City.
Why not come out to support ‘1 Night, 1 School’ for the Helping Hearts Council? This event takes place at PH-D Dream Downtown at 355 West 16th Street from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m..
Sometimes it is difficult to imagine that children in other parts of the world are so highly impacted by natural disaster. The money raised from this charitable event will be donated to help rebuild a kindergarten for TK Pertiwi 11 in Indonesia which was destroyed by an earthquake in May of 2006. As soon as the first responders left following the tragedy, these students as well as the local community seemed to be forgotten. Now almost six years later, there is an opportunity to bring hope and joy to those that are less fortunate.
Tickets can be purchased in advance online for $60 and at the door for $75. This event is sure to be a most charitable celebration of good faith in the true spirit of giving.
Special features of the evening include:
Silent auction – Raffle items given away every 20 minutes for a $5 raffle ticket – Sponsored bar – Performances by hot recording artists McKenzie Eddy and Kat Chr – DJ Mel DeBarge will be spinning the music and keeping the party goers entertained throughout the night.
Some of the wonderful accomplishments of the Happy Hearts Fund have been the rebuilding/building of 57 schools and kindergartens in nine countries and over 34,412 children and 337,450 community members have benefited from this terrific work.
Make this a night to remember not only for you but for children that need the education and love and will become our future leaders of tomorrow.
