Aspen Colorado is a wonderland of skiing and winter sports as well as a luxurious vacation destination.

This month, Aspen will also celebrate its 4th Annual Aspen Fashion Week 2012 from March 11th-14th at various locations throughout the town.  What gives this event a unique appeal is the type of fashions that are showcased over these four days.  Attendees will be able to see the latest collections of winter resort, ski, sportswear and technical outerwear.  This will take place through fashion shows, in-store events, evening presentations and late night fashionable soirees.

For the first time, Bentley Motors will be the Presenting Partner for Aspen Fashion Week 2012.  There could be no better partner to represent opulence and outstanding performance in style.  On display will be Bentley’s latest Continental models.

The official Industry Partner will be SnowSports Industry of America (SIA), the national not-for-profit, North American member-owned trade association representing all components of the snow sports industry.  They will be presenting “Snow Collections” at the Snowstage.  Brands will include Obermeyer, Helly Hansen, FERA, SKEA, Dale of Norway, Killy and Krimson Klover.

The plush St. Regis Aspen serves as the host hotel for the evening presentation and fashion media, buyers and guests will also be thrilled to visit the pop-up retail store and bustling lounges.

The first day of the event will feature “Off the Rack”, a conversation with FEED (Fighting Hunger and Malnutrition around the world) Foundation’s co-founder, Lauren Bush Lauren, Kohl Crecelius; CEO and co-founder of Krochet Kids International, David Peck of The David Peck Collection and Veronika Scott from The Empowerment Plan. Discussion will take place on fashion, technology, commerce and how each of these relevant topics influence our society today.

Emerging designers giving us a preview into their collections will be Duohtavuohta (gaining fame with the brand’s handmade and exotic collection direct from Finland using mostly recycled materials for its products), Isaora (outerwear made for comfort and versatility) and sophomore designer, NUMBER: LAB (bringing men tech and tailored sportswear in a streamlined design).

Other designers playing a pivotal part during this event include KJUS (high quality ski wear for those desiring to stay on top), Authier (synonymous with elegance in ski wear), Neve Designs (original apparel crafted from the finest natural and performance fibers), Roots Canada (innovative clothing for an active lifestyle), Marmot (produces clothing worn by world-class athletes staying one step ahead of the rest), CrOp by David Peck (fun and quirky clothing with a conscience) and GRAY Aspen (combining fashion and art into refined beauty).

Sunday Riley, one of the influential leaders in the beauty world, will be the official Beauty Partner.  During Aspen Fashion Week 2012, a new color line will be launched.  In today’s world of ecological concern, this is the perfect brand with makeup and skincare formulas using Green Technology that is a breakthrough innovation in beauty.

The Art Institute of Technology, a community partner and The Denver Art Museum, will celebrate a Yves St. Laurent retrospective.

Media partners for this trend-setting event are the world renowned Wall Street Journal and Outside, leaders in their field.

With this winning mix of location, sport and style, media and models, distinctive designers, event partners, philanthropy and loads of enthusiasm, Aspen Fashion Week 2012 is sure to take the fashion world by storm.
