LET’S CELEBRATE ELECTION NIGHT

It will be time to bring out the libations because not only will the winners have a reason to celebrate but the losers will need some consolation.
There are some fine, refreshing cocktails that will be the perfect ending to the evening brought to us from Cointreau & MARTINI. Whip out the red, white and blue and rejoice until your heart is content or drown your sorrows in a few tasty spirits.
Here are some easy drink recipes to get the party started and carry you into the evening:
The First Lady
2oz gin
1oz Cointreau
0.5oz Fresh lemon juice
Pour into a shaker with ice
Romney Red Rush
4 parts MARTINI® Asti (chilled)
½ part strawberry puree
½ part rose syrup
Pour puree and rose syrup into a flute glass and mix well. Top with MARTINI® Asti. Garnish with a strawberry slice.
ObamaMama
4 parts MARTINI ® Asti (chilled)
½ part liqueur
½ part blue curaçao
lemon twist
Pour liqueur and blue curaçao into a flute glass. Squeeze in a twist of lemon. Fill with MARTINI® Asti.
Cointreaupolitician
1 oz Cointreau
¾ oz lime juice
1 oz cranberry juice
1½ oz vodka
Pour into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes, shake well, then pour into a chilled martini glass.
