The bad news was kind of predictable: Charlie’s been fired from the hit TV comedy Two and a half Men.
The show’s producer, Warner Brothers, released this statement Monday: “After careful consideration, Warner Bros. Television has terminated Charlie Sheen’s services on “Two and a Half Men” effective immediately.”
Warner told the New York Times that it would decide the fate of the show later on.
The show had been discontinued last month after Charlie publicly dissed its creator, executive producer Chuck Lorre. In recent days the show’s star has been making a flurry of media appearances, explaining his penchant for his “goddesses.” Many found the references to such things as his tiger blood a tad odd.
Sheen was television’s highest paid actor; reports varied on his earnings, from $1.2 million to $2 million per episode.
Sheen laughed the firing off in a statment to TMZ.com: “This is very good news,” he said. “They continue to be in breach, like so many whales. It is a big day of gladness at the Sober Valley Lodge because now I can take all of the bazillions, never have to look at [expletive] again and I never have to put on those silly shirts for as long as this warlock exists in the terrestrial dimension.”

But there was winning news for Charlie as well.
In less than a week, according to his tweet Monday, the poetic actor has garnered two million followers. “Another record shattered. We gobbled the soft target that was 2.0 mil, like a bag of a troll-house zombie chow.”
In a later tweet he paraded his accomplishment ater, he added, “hey Guinness, might wanna start writing them in pencil, #checkit; you’ve been warned.”
To make up for his lost income, Charlie will soon begin tweeting endorsements, The Hollywood Reporter recently reported. He is already offering a job to help him in his new career: “I’m looking to hire a #winning INTERN with #TigerBlood. Apply here – http://bit.ly/hykQQF #TigerBloodIntern #internship #ad”
On the weekend, Sheen began a live webcast, which most reviewers found lacking.
Bart Jackson has way fewer follower than Charlie Sheen on Twitter.
