Rehab clearly didn’t work…maybe he should work on stepping out of the limelight entirely.
I’m more worried about how his young ones will cope with all of this.

Denise Richards isn’t letting her ex-husband’s booze-and-drug-fueled rampage ruin her publicity tour for her upcoming television show.

The actress appeared poised as she was pounded by questions about Charlie Sheen on the “Today” show Wednesday morning. Richards declared she “can’t control what happened” but still has “a lot of faith in my ex.”

The former model continued on with her media blitz for her new show “Blue Mountain State,” trying to dodge questions about the Sheen incident on “The Joy Behar Show” and Howard Stern’s radio show Tuesday.

Richards, 39, acknowledged that she and Sheen came to New York with their two daughters Sam, 6, and Lola, 5. The family went to a museum, shopped and saw “Mary Poppins.” She said her children are unaware of their dad’s meltdown.

The “Two and a Half Men” actor was hospitalized on Tuesday after a bizarre incident where he found naked in a trashed suite at The Plaza hotel in New York.

The former fashion model dispelled rumors that she was the one who called 911 but said she did help her ex-husband at the hospital.

Sheen has since returned to Los Angeles, she said.

Richards was married to Sheen from 2002 to 2005. The former Bond girl once sought a restraining order against Sheen, citing death threats. They have since reconciled.

“Charlie will always be a part of my life. We are bonded together forever,” Richards said.

Richards said she has an obligation to promote her show.

“I’m very proud of it. I’m professional, so that’s why I’m here and wanted to continue doing that,” she said. “I’m a strong woman, and I want to be a good role model for my girls. Things happen. I can’t control what happens. … I can either dwell on it and feel a certain way, or you just pick yourself up and move forward.”
