CHECK OUT YOUR CAR OF THE FUTURE AT NY AUTO SHOW

Right now through Sunday, April 7, 2013, the New York International Auto Show is underway. This marks its 113th year as one of the very first auto shows in the world. Unveiling of the cars of the future all takes place at the Jacob Javits Center in the heart of New York City. With over 1,000 vehicles, the latest in tech, safety and innovation and interactive exhibits, this event is definitely one of the largest attended auto shows.
You can get a glimpse into the car of the future, see all the concepts that are going from dream to reality and make it an outing for the entire family.
Over the last ten days, auto buffs have been treated to Gartel Art Cars, a Camp Jeep Outdoor Off Roading Ride Along, appearances by New York Mets legend, Ron Darling and Tyson Chandler of the New York Knicks as well as the History Channel’s Counting Cars exhibit.
Today will be a big day with AutoTrader.com prizes and giveaways, appearances by Miss USA, Alyssa Campanella for Hotbot and Kenny Wallace and Rick Cerone of New York Yankees fame.
Check out the 2013 Can-Am Spyder Roadster Presentation, Honda Spring Fling, Acura MDX Road to the Future, the Dub Show Tour of custom and exotic vehicles and much more to fill a full day of fun.
This year, the Design Car of the Year has gone to the hot 2014 Jaguar F Type. There will be nothing quite like it on the road.
For Performance Car of the Year, the 2014 Porsche Boxster Cayman takes the prize. It is small but extremely powerful on the highway.
In a world constantly striving to ‘go green’, the 2014 Tesla Model S takes the award for Green Car of the Year.
The Car of the Year has been awarded to the 2014 Volkswagen Golf with a style and affordability unmatched in its class.
Some of the newest concept cars include the sporty 2013 Acura NSX Concept reminiscent of their limited edition model from previous years but with a more futuristic appeal. Other space-age autos include the 2013 Smart ForStars Concept, the 2013 BMW IS Coupe, the 2013 Nissan Resonance just to name a few.

Many vehicles are making their debut for the very first time at this auto show. The 2014 BMW 328D, the 2014 Chrysler 200S Special Edition, 2014 Infiniti Q50, 2014 Mercedes-Benz Electric Drive B Class, 2014 Scion FR-S, 2014 Rolls-Royce Wraith, the 2014 Bentley New Flying Spur and many, many more.
Truck lovers will find some of their very favorites from the top auto makers such as Ford, GMC, Dodge and Chevrolet.
Be the first to see the just revealed 2013 Audi RS7 Sportback, 2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray and the 2013 Ford Fiesta.
