Daisy Fuentes Celebrates Ten Years With a Capsule Collection

We all remember that wholesome look, that tantalizing smile and the vivacious personality of a model admired by many. Daisy Fuentes hit the fashion world with a fast and fervent attitude and an international flair. Born in Cuba, Daisy became known as MTV’s first Latina VJ. With her keen sense of fashion and her forte for fine clothing, she became the host of ‘House Of Style’, a weekly show that she contributed greatly to the success of. Fuentes was extremely comfortable in front of the camera and loved what she did.

Fuentes had an insatiable appetite for more which led her to create the ‘Daisy Fuentes Clothing Line’ in 2004. She went on to introduce an all-natural hair care line in March of 2009 and called it ‘Daisy Fuentes’ Style Pro.’ In that same year, she took workouts to a much higher plain with a workout game for Wii.
A wide variety of her merchandise, which is not limited to clothing and includes accessories, sunglasses and fragrances can be found at Kohl’s. This model turned designer, became known as the first exclusive brand offered at the retail giant.
That brings us up to present day when we are celebrating ’10 glorious years of the Daisy Fuentes Collection for Kohl’s. At a time when we are inching ever so closer to the holidays, Fuentes has taken ten of her most favorite signature looks and combined them into a revived capsule collection with a vibrant and fresh resurgence. She has done some fresh takes on some of her more endless fashions.

Back is the fit & flare dress, geometrical prints on t-shirts, flounce skirts, hi-lo tunics, tech leggings and luxe open cardigans. Colors are as innocent as the winter snow in hues of neutral gray, onyx, cream, bold pops of cobalt and black cherry.
“I believe that clothes should flatter and move with you. I like to take today’s trends and make them fashionable and classic enough to last beyond just one season. I love what I do. I spend a lot of time talking to my customers and going through my friends’ closets. This is my inspiration,” says Daisy.
This newest collection is available right now at Kohl’s and between the chic appeal and perfect pricing, this collection is going to be a huge winner. The collection was also recently featured in one of the top publications in the world, Women’s Wear Daily.
Daisy Fuentes is just as popular now, even more so, than she was as she began her fruitful career back in the 80’s. Daisy is one of those memorable mentors.
