The dive industry and dive enthusiasts are gearing up for the annual 4-day DEMA Dive Show held in Orlando, Florida at the beginning of November.

This annual show is the largest event for the dive industry trade. The show will be a combination of informative and exciting categories. Unveiling of new products takes place to those who make the industry as successful as it is. A scuba demonstration pool will be set up to test the latest innovations.
Seminars will be conducted by masters of the trade on subjects such as ‘The Importance of Gas Analysis in Scuba Diving’. Scuba Schools International, experts in diving, offer comprehensive training and promotional programs each day of the show.

Dive destinations are a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of the normal routine and many dive operators, wholesalers and travel companies present a look at specials and extensive information into their desirable facilities. Exotic destinations featured will be Bonaire, islands in the Caribbean, Curacao and Fiji.
The latest and sleekest new collections in dive apparel will be presented that are sure to impress.
Aggressor Fleet, Dancer Fleet and Gates Underwater Products announce the World Underwater Video Challenge sure to draw in a big crowd with more than $21,000 in prizes including dive vacations. The winning entry will be showcased at the 2012 San Diego Undersea Film Exhibition, the ultimate honor for photography buffs. Underwater photography is taking the world by storm and there will be a wide array of video seminars offered daily.

PADI, Professional Association of Diving Instructors, the largest of scuba diving certifying agencies, offers a two-day program with the assistance of PADI Americas, Aqua Lung and SCUBAPRO to provide hands-on tactics to retailers.
Dive store operators will be given tips on how to add color to their dive stores to attract new customers. Free training materials are going to be given away to retailers on the new Nitrox Diver Program. Learn about exciting marketing opportunities during these tough economic times.

Social networking events are all part of the DEMA Show so attendees can meet others with whom they have common interests and share quality time together. One morning there is a prayer breakfast and on Friday evening, November 4th, it’s Tiki Time at a grand dinner, party and awards ceremony. A member exhibitor and member attending lounge will provide relaxing getaways for at least 15 minutes during the day.

The 4-day event attracts more and more attendees every year as the word spreads and the diving industry gains rapid popularity around the world.
