Whatever the awards ceremony being held at a certain time of the year, designer creations always overcome the Red Carpet with sensational style and unforgettable sophistication.

The latest showing took place at the 42nd Annual American Music Awards 2014 which were held in Los Angeles on November 23, 2014.  It can only be described as a pleasing procession of designer creations in a vast array of authenticity.

One of the most admired fashion icons of this generation is Taylor Swift and she continued her legacy quite lavishly on this evening in a custom emerald cut out gown created for her by  Kors has customized clothing for some of the greatest trendsetters of all time. He has that magical talent of transforming his clients into eternal beauties set apart from the rest by the creation that they just happen to be wearing.

Going from the wild attention-grabbing look that we are so accustomed to, Nicki Minaj had a more subdued look, but still very captivating in a black Alexander Wang mini with pleated skirt and cut out side panels on the bodice.

Zac Posen, native New Yorker, continues to gain fame and wide acclaim as he dresses the stars. Rita Ora brought Posen’s creativity to life in a brilliant sunshine infused strapless gown, simple yet elegant with flowing train for a dramatic appeal.

Her humble beginnings date back to her win on the popular ‘American Idol’ show, but Jordin Sparks has blossomed into a fashion flower sparkling on this very evening in bronze on the Red Carpet in a Halston Heritage creation.

The Halston name continues to keep us in utter awe as we saw new mother, Fergie, showing off her curves in a Halston Heritage black halter gown with gold clasp belt and seductively side slit skirt. It hasn’t taken her any time at all to get right back into shape.

As we saw on this particular evening of splendor, it isn’t only about the women and their customized wardrobes. Men are just as important to set a fashion trend  just as Frankie Grande did as a red carpet host dressed in only the finest of looks from the most notable designer of menswear, Malan Breton. All the pieces were from the Malan Breton HOMME Collection. Breton, a Taiwanese-born fashion designer, has received numerous awards for his outstanding work and has continued to be in great demand.

All these names are so familiar to the international fashion world and the designers that dress the stars on the Red Carpet have proven that they are the very best in the business.

The creativity and the glamour simply did not stop on the Red Carpet. There were some performances on stage with sparkling beauty, a perfect accompaniment to each of the energetic performances.  We saw the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Ariana Grande, Lorde, Iggy Azalea, One Direction, Sam Smith, Pitbull and Ne-Yo.
