Designer Plus Model Spells Success

What sells clothing and accessories better than the top models tantalizing the runways who have us in a state of envy as we set our goals to become transformed into our own new face of fashion? Perhaps designers are on to something these days with the latest influx of model muses used in worldwide campaigns that are rocking the fashion world to its core.

Balenciaga breathed life into their brand when they recently chose Gisele Bundchen to star in their Fall Campaign.  No longer extremely feminine and in frills, Gisele is confident and courageous sporting a close-cut crop for this shoot. Dressed daringly in black from head to toe, the supermodel shows us her versatility as famed photographer, Steven Klein, captured her in some of her best moments.  Not only are there color ads, but to make a stronger impression on the audience, there are many black and white ads that are quite powerful.  We won’t get a chance to view the entire ad campaign until September, but it will most definitely be worth the wait.  Balenciaga seems to favor the tall and beautiful Gisele as she was a star in their Spring 2011 Fashion Campaign and walked the runway for the design label that very same season.

A design duo with a distinct take on fashion is Dolce & Gabbana who have chosen to use one of the most famous supermodels for the Fall 2014 Campaign.  A colorful array of beautiful people celebrate the fashions of Dolce & Gabbana amongst a forest of fantasy.  Claudia Schiffer is back on the scene looking as youthful as ever with a figure that shows off the designers’ clothing quite well.  She is surrounded by other lovely models such as Vittoria Ceretti and Bianca Balti.  It is more than just a fantasy for the senior citizen holding Claudia tightly for fear his dream will slip away.  The talented photographer for this shoot was Domenico Dolce.  Similar to Gisele, this is not a first union for Claudia and the design team. She was part of their sultry fragrance campaign in 2009 along with Naomi Campbell and Eva Herzigvoa.  Quite a bit was vividly left to the imagination and the fragrances were top sellers.
What better way to introduce us to a new and fresh face in fashion than to look to Michael Kors to make it happen. Â Benjamin Eidem is a newcomer, but won’t be for very long. Â The star of the newest Kors Fall 2014 campaign along with beauty Karmen Pedaru, is definitely tall, dark and handsome sporting his Michael Kors ensemble. Â This particular campaign was shot by highly respected fashion photographer, Mario Testino. Â Look for Benjamin, the new face ofKors menswear, to show up on the runway for Michael Kors as well as in more ads and fashion shoots.
These top designers sure know how to pick the faces that can, no doubt, sell millions as they strut their stuff and smile effortlessly at the camera. Â The theme seems to be consistent and catching on quite quickly.
