Gaddafi ‘dead’
DEPOSED Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi has been shot and killed, Libyan officials said today.
The former leader was wounded in both legs and the head as he was captured after trying to flee in a convoy.
He was taken away in an ambulance but later died of his wounds, according to the country’s National Transitional Council official Abdel Majid.
NATO warplanes were reported to have struck the convoy and hit four cars as it headed west.
