IMAGES MADE TO SELL

We all seem to identify with beauties of the big screen or timeless faces of the catwalk.
The list is endless of big name brands that have gorgeous representatives luring you to their products with promises that you too can be just as bold and just as beautiful.
Looking ravishing is made so much easier with the right combination of products and alluring faces such as Emma Stone, Olivia Wilde, Andie McDowell, Douton Kroes and Gwen Stefani set the stage in an effortless way for worldwide beauty brands such as Loreal and Revlon.
Those of us that were all part of the age of the ‘Supermodel’ are excited to see that Claudia Schiffer and Christy Turlington are back on the scene and looking even better than they did years ago. Claudia is part of a campaign for Revlon and GUESS and Christy is back with long lashes for Maybelline New York. Time has kept these two magnificent models ageless.
Cameron Diaz is empowering women worldwide with her latest campaign for luxury jewelry brand, Tag Heuer, in a commitment to benefit UN Women through this very exclusive brand.
If we could all have tight abs like Jennifer Aniston as she heats up after a workout for Smart Water, we would exercise at least twice a day.
The classic retailer, Ann Taylor, has signed on blond beauty, Kate Hudson, for her third consecutive campaign. Sales have proven that she attracts customers with her stylishly good looks. The clothing flatters her figure and women want that same head-turning look as well.
Beauty giant, Cover Girl, just revealed that their new face is PINK. A singer with spunk and pizzazz, she is thrilled to join the ranks of Drew Barrymore, Ellen DeGeneres and Queen Latifah who have inspired her. To go with her bold personality, Cover Girl will introduce a brand new mascara with PINK as the spokesmodel.
Brazilian fashion brand, Colcci, has once again chosen sumptuous Alessandra Ambrosio to team up with mighty and masculine Ashton Kutcher in a steamy campaign that heats up for the Spring/Summer 2013 Collection. It was evident that the chemistry was there and we are sure that their winning looks will sell the collection and all that it has to offer.
As we approach Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring 2013 in New York, one of the dedicated designers who always seems to be at the forefront of fashion, Vera Wang, has chosen Gossip Girl’s own lovely Leighton Meester to be flatteringly floral as the new face of Vera Wang’s “Lovestruck” perfume combining ‘champagne accord, apricot blossom and pink passion flower’. Meester is featured in a violet, blue and green flower print low cut dress looking fresh as a flower herself. She has a couple of enchanting looks and fits the motto of the campaign appropriately, “enchantment and the possibility of love at first sight”. Vera Wang and Leighton Meester hold a special bond as Leighton is frequently seen in Vera’s creations including the wedding dress worn by her character, Blair Waldorf, in Gossip Girl.
We all know magnetic Ashley Greene from her role in the Twilight Saga series but she moved into the world of fashion quickly as the face of DKNY, appearing on billboards throughout New York City including one of the largest right in the middle of Times Square. Her looks accompanied by a designer name followed by millions, has kept DKNY in the spotlight and pulling in successful revenue.
So wherever you go, wherever you look, you will always take solace in the fact that celebrities and models mold the images of the brands that we buy each and every day, from clothing to beauty products to home goods and even to automobiles. The media has a way of bringing it all together.
