IMG Fashion and Mercedes-Benz carry us to destinations across the world where fashion is sizzling with style and sophistication. IMG Fashion has now joined forces with Mercedes-Benz and moved into the great ‘Down Under’. Recently it was announced that IMG Fashion reached a multi-year agreement with Mercedes-Benz to become naming rights partner of previously named Rosemount Australian Fashion Week and Sydney Fashion Festival.
This latest and greatest fashion extravaganza will take place this coming August from the 20th through the 29th.
Australian Fashion Week showcases collections from Australian and Asia Pacific Designers and is a means of premiering new and established talent. Some of the prominent names are Alex Perry, Leona Edmiston, Ericaamerica and J’Aton Couture. The event began in 1995 and has continued with a strong following ever since. There are upwards of 130 designers previewing their newest seasonal collections on a yearly basis.
The Sydney Fashion Festival is a showcase of Australia’s leading designer brands and retailers and the majority of the event is open to the public. There are a multitude of scheduled events including runway shows, in-store promotions, celebrity events, exhibitions, launches and after-parties throughout the city of Sydney. You will get a glimpse of Australia’s biggest names in fashion as well as celebrities and international models.
Australia is elated to have two fashion industry giants, IMG FASHION and MERCEDES-BENZ, come together to celebrate the future of fashion and keep the high power energy going in the ‘Land Down Under’.
