Kors Introduces His Newest Collection
Women love to feel elegant, appear breathtaking and strikingly beautiful as they stand out in a crowd while still dressing the part. With all the recent galas and award ceremonies opening the month of June, it is no wonder that is the âgo toâ designer of the stars, a winner in every way.

One of the most anticipated events and the true highlight of the fashion industry is the CFDA Fashion Awards. Held in New York City each year, this yearâs 16th annual ceremony took place on Monday, June 5, 2017. Hollywoodâs elite, a whoâs who list of actresses, designers, models, media moguls, all look forward to walking the Red Carpet at this Swarovski sponsored event.
Being able to shine in a piece from one of Michael Korsâ collections symbolizes not only grace and fine taste in style, but, it is also a tribute to the designer who was in the spotlight at these awards not too long ago as he took home the distinguished 2010 CFDA Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement, becoming the youngest designer to ever accomplish that feat. He had previously captured the 1999 CFDA Award for Womenswear Designer of the Year and then was awarded the 2003 CFDA Award for Menswear Designer of the Year.
On June 5th, 2017, the fashion choices sparkled with Korsâ signature elegance. Priyanka Chopra wore a custom black herringbone sequined dress from Michael Kors Collection and black Smith python platform sandals from the Spring 2017 Michael Kors collection.
Joan Smalls wore a black slashed one-shoulder gown, gold-tone hoops and gold Niki snakeskin sandals from the Fall 2017 Michael Kors Collection with a black Leyla python clutch and a gold-tone cuff.

Arizona Muse wore a merlot-and-black cheetah-embroidered dress from the Fall 2017 Michael Kors Collection with a black crocodile envelope clutch from the Resort 2017 Michael Kors Collection.

Gloria Steinem wore a custom black wool-crepe tunic with black sequined pants and a suede-and-leather belt from Michael Kors Collection with a black Yasmeen large metallic clutch from the Fall 2016 Michael Kors Collection.

Then, on Sunday, June 11, 2017, at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, more celebrities took to the Red Carpet in Michael Kors as they attended the 2017 Tony Awards, hosted by Kevin Spacey. Bette Midler wore a custom silver-and-gunmetal beaded bell-sleeve gown from Michael Kors Collection with a gunmetal Yasmeen Swarovski® crystal clutch from the Fall 2017 Michael Kors Collection.

Scarlett Johansson wore a custom white chain-embroidered crepe-sablé blazer and skirt from Michael Kors Collection and a silver Elsie clutch from MICHAEL Michael Kors.

Olivia Wilde wore a custom crimson crystal-embroidered plunge gown from Michael Kors Collection. Olivia is excited to be making her debut on Broadway this month, starring in George Orwellâs â1984â.
Carolyn Murphy wore a slate crystal-embroidered draped dress from the Fall 2017 Michael Kors Collection with a gunmetal Elsie clutch from MICHAEL Michael Kors and silver Jacqueline leather sandals.
Each and every collection designed by Michael Kors has its own magical appeal. On the heels of all this gallantry and ceremony comes Michaelâs newest, Kors Collection Resort 2018. This season, Boho becomes the landslide influence to admire. This collection is laid-back languor, mixed with that Big City Polish. No piece is too structured, no look too ordinary. Prints are tropical and whimsical, graphic florals and bold stripes make a big influence on this newest collection. Romance is surely the winner here as a versatile manner of felinity rears its head with soft bias ruffles and tassel details. Dresses go from sand to soireeâ. Shapes have that inherent ease, giving each woman the ability to choose her specific preference. Sarongs, Pareos and pajama pants are in sharp contrast to the oversized and relaxed takes on menâs blazers, trenches and trousers. Both could be seen on the runway. Colors could not be more vibrant and resort-ready. Vivid Mediterranean blue and brilliant sunny yellow play off of crisp black and white. You will find sophisticated mixes of sapphire, branch and black and metallic accents of silver and gold. Accessories are in tune to the look, travel-ready with a comfortable allure. The casual platform makes its introduction in this 2018 Resort Collection and a change of pace occurs with the knotted slides and mules. Carry all the essentials in slouchy, woven bags, oversized clutches and collapsible totes. This is the alluring look of âThe Island Girlâ, ready for the next great escape to the luxurious land of Michael Kors Resort 2018.
