Star-Studded Evening Celebrating MJB’s FFAWN Foundation
FFAWN (The Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now, Inc.) celebrated “Mary J. Blige Honors Women Week” with a star-studded evening at Cipriani Wall Street.
FFAWN was created, founded and funded in 2007 by singing sensation Mary J. Blige and music marketing mogul Steve Stoute. The foundation inspires women to overcome their personal difficulties to reach their full potential. The foundation also works to empower women through a range of educational programs, helping the women to pursue their individual dreams.
The evening was hosted by Deborah Roberts (ABC News) Taraji P. Henson and Co Host Ibris Elba
Honorees include: Lisa Price (Founder & President of Carol’s Daughter), Mindy Grossman (CEO of HSN), Marjorie Harvey (President & CEO of The Steve & Marjorie Harvey Foundation),and Suzy Welch (Best-selling Author, TV Commentator, and Business Journalist).
