MB AUTUMN/WINTER 2012-13 FASHION WEEK IN TOKYO

Style and design never stop with Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week as they glide across the globe all year long.  This week, from March 18th through March 24th, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week takes us to one of the cultural capitals of the world, Tokyo.

Autumn/Winter 2012-13 is being showcased with a bigger and better image than ever before.  Taking place at various venues near midtown Tokyo, there will be 39 brands showcasing their newest looks for the season throughout the week.

A Degree Fahrenheit used intricate details to convey an image of structure and as the customer slips into one of their outfits, a definite statement comes across of confidence and self-assurance.  The designer, Yu Amatsu, has won the Gen Art International Design Competition twice.  Leggings and rich fabrics are what make these designs stand out.  Although colors are dark and more in the neutral family, they work very well together.

Alice Auaa wowed the viewers with over the top fashions that could have come right from a costume party to the runway.  It was an interesting take on black and white.  While being somewhat surreal, avant-garde was part of the whole aspect of the collection as well.

In-Process By Hall OHara gives true meaning to the mixing and matching of patterns in ways that it is almost difficult to imagine but it comes off flawless and the looks flow beautifully.

Jenny Fax is imaginative and fun with a look of over the edge schoolgirl turns young woman with a bit of naive’ innocence at hand.

Whiz Limited gives us a Mens’ Collection with layering, contrasting bright colors, hats and parkas and sweaters.  The looks were a way to combat the winter chill in a very stylish way.

But this is only just the beginning of a whirlwind of fashion brands such as beautiful people, Christian Dada, everlasting sprout, Kamishima Chinami, Somarta and so many more innovative and ingenious designer collections heralding in the autumn and winter seasons.

In the spirit of style and world-class design, Mercedes-Benz is showcasing their new SL-Class Premiere with a progressive and strong form and this has come to be known as the top roadster of Mercedes-Benz.
