Each and every day our troops put their lives in danger to protect our country and make our nation a much safer place to live.

We owe our veterans  so much for their unselfish and committed sense of duty and now on September 29, 2012, you will have that opportunity to give back to them.

In the land where the sun shines brightly and the sun sets in a gorgeous picture-perfect setting, Miami, Florida will rock our troops with a benefit concert/celebration that will take place at the BankUnited Center at the top-rated University of Miami.   In honor of our veterans, the concert will be called ‘Miami Rocks Our Troops’.  This concert will raise awareness and funds for HonorVet.org, a national 501 (C)(3) organization founded by Jesse Canella and Jim McCain, two U.S. Marines.  “As we move forward with our mission, we are thrilled to come to Miami,” said Jesse Canella, CEO and Co-Founder of HonorVet.org. “Home to a lot of our Latino veterans, Miami is the perfect place to create an event as diverse as its culture and vibe. We are sure we will have a concert worthy of those who have served this nation of all.”  The organization is totally dedicated to assisting veterans once they return from service as well as their families.  The veterans are given the support and confidence that they need to get back into civilian life.

This will be a star-studded concert hosted by Miami’s own multi-GRAMMY winner, Jon Secada.  Secada has had endless chart-topping hits and has always remained true to his city of origin, Miami.  The preliminary artist line-up includes top guitarist and rock and roll hall of famer Billy Gibbons; multi-Grammy award winner Jose Feliciano,  Backstreet Boy Nick CarterAmerican dance/club music sensation Erika Jayne, Miami Native American Idol contestant Sammy Arriaga, award winning country music artist  Danielle Peck, Latin sensation Ana Isabelle, European heartthrob Morgan Li and the most popular R&B group in You Tube Ahmir,  to name a few.

The event is produced in partnership by HonorVet.org, Unity For Foundation, Paraiso Pictures, 982 Media/CC Hang, YME Entertainment and Sunset Pictures.  This concert event will be honoring and supporting America’s admirable veterans by directly financing crucial resources and services instantly available through this organization, HonorVet.org.

In addition to the headliners, industry pros such as the “Billy Gibbon’s All Star Band”, Anton Fig (David Letterman’s band), Ellis Hall (Tower of Power), Keith Hibacher, Phil Lopestri, Mike Addiego, Chad Hollister, Chris Peterman and music director, Martin Guigui will all be part of this enchanting event.
