Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week kicks off in chilly New York City this coming Wednesday, February 6, 2013.  As we climb the steps of Lincoln Center with a jump to our step and excitement building in our heart, there is so much more in store this season not only for media, buyers, fashion industry professionals and celebrities but for you, the fashion lover.

Over 90 of the world’s top designers will be giving us a preview of what the fall season means to them and what trends move us forward.  We are introduced to the creativity of emerging designers as well.

This season a special ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at the amfAR New York Gala at Cipriani Wall Street on Wednesday, February 6th.  Celebrities and VIPs unite with some of the biggest names in the fashion industry.  HIV/AIDS is a disease that must be eradicated in our lifetime and benefits such as these much-publicized events raise much needed funds in the fight.  Not only will the gala serve its philanthropic purpose but it will also begin another fabulous Fashion Week.
