Now is your big chance to be seen on the Red Carpet. Starting on Monday, September 12th at noon ET/9:00 AM PT, continuing into the week, fans of the Oscars can apply online for a random drawing for bleacher seats along the 84th Academy Awards Red Carpet on Hollywood Boulevard.
Seating is limited to 700 seats viewing a 500-foot long walkway ultimately leading into the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood and Highland Center. Cheer on your favorite Oscar nominees and celebrities on Sunday, February 26th, 2012. Once all the attendees arrive and are ushered into the Center, the lucky fans who watched it happen will be whisked away to watch the ceremonies telecast at a nearby location.
The application form will be available online at http://www.oscars.org/bleachers.Oscars The application process closes at midnight ET on Sunday, September 18th. Make sure to fill out the application in its entirety. The process will be totally done online and you are only allowed one entry. If you win, you will be awarded 2 seats for you and a guest.
Those selected for the drawing will be notified in late September. More information will be required for security purposes and final approval will take place in early January with a confirmation letter.
The Academy Award event is televised live in more than 200 countries worldwide.
