If your love lies in music and travel, pack your bags and your spirit for a very special trip to the British Virgin Islands.  This relaxing Memorial Day weekend from May 25th – May 27th, the British Virgin Islands Tourist Board is pleased to support BVI Music Fest with a wide range of musical stars for your listening pleasure.

There could be no better atmosphere than sitting on the pure white remote sandy beaches of Cane Garden Bay and kicking back to the sounds of some of the top masters of music.  The headliner is none other than Grammy Award-winning R&B singer, Estelle, along with reggae group Third World Band and the classic group known as Forever Motown.  In addition to these popular artists, there will be more fun in store with local performers, food, dancing and merriment.

Each evening will be a tribute to its own magical sound.  Friday night will be Soca and Calypso under the moon, Reggae and Hip Hop to jam away Saturday evening and R&B and Soul on Sunday.  You will also be able to find jazz to put you in a laid back mood and kids can keep busy with all kinds of cool and enticing activities along with delicious foods.

You could be at no better beach in the Caribbean than Cane Garden Bay.  As you savor in the sounds, you will have a view of the spacious mountains in the background.  There could be no better way to cut loose.

If music isn’t your fancy, but fishing is, beautiful Bitter End Yacht Club is the place to make your destination from July 30th through August 2nd for the annual BVI Billfish Tournament.  This is a popular catch-and-release blue marlin fishing tournament at the North Drop that brings in all kinds of visitors.  The weather is usually magnificent and this is the talk of the season.  Besides that, this is one of the best blue marlin fishing sites in the world.  After a day on the dreamy blue waters of the BVI’s, what could be better than to return to the resort for rest, reminiscing and relaxation.  Cheer on the winners.

All boats participating in the 2012 Billfish Tournament will receive a complimentary membership to Bitter End’s Quarterdeck Club which is a $500 value.  Tournament size is limited to only 20 boats so jump on the bandwagon soon before it is too late.

If you have never experienced the monthly Full Moon Party at Bomba’s Shack or the family-friendly Fireball Party held at Trellis Bay in Tortola, you will be eager to learn that it coincides with this outdoor event.  You will never look at the moon in the same way again.

Whatever your desire, whatever your fancy, the British Virgin Islands will refresh and revitalize your attitude and your heart!
