TOMMY HILFIGER MAKES HIS MARK ON FASHION WEEK

Get a glimpse into the world of one of the most classic designers of all time, Tommy Hilfiger. On Thursday, February 16th at 6:30 P.M., fashion will come alive with the ‘Tommy Hilfiger American Express Cardmember-Only Runway Show‘.
This fashion and music runway extravaganza will introduce guests to Hilfiger’s Spring 2012 Campaign and ‘The Hilfigers’ – the all-American eclectic family on a camping adventure. Adding to the sublime will be the chart-topping band, Cobra Starship, who will perform for the first time at Lincoln Center. The band has skyrocketed to the top of the charts with such great hits as “Good Girls Go Bad” featuring none other than Gossip Girl’s own Leighton Meester and the band’s most recent hit single, “You Make Me Feel”.
As Gabe Saporta, Cobra Starship Frontman was quoted as saying, “Personal style and individuality really influenced our group as a whole since we came together in 2005”. “Our band name actually came from an old, vintage leather jacket I had, so I guess you could say that a piece of fashion has been and will always be with us.”
The evening will bring the versatile fashions of Tommy Hilfiger to the runway in khaki jackets and pants, versatile vests, tailored shirts, scarves to accessorize and so much more. Denim even makes an appearance. Pre-cocktails will be offered at 6:30 P.M. to set the stage and provide the perfect atmosphere.
