Perhaps one of the greatest honors is to be named to the Vanity Fair ‘Best-Dressed List’ better known as the 73rd International Best-Dressed Poll. Any time the media looks to a star to set the seasonal trends, that speaks for itself.
Some of the most stylish women include the gorgeous Alicia Keys whose beauty equals her talent and her choice of clothing is also fitting for every occasion. She feels like she has that “Bianca Jagger-classy yet tough look”.
Jessica Chastain climbed to stardom in the award-winning movie ‘The Help’ and her fresh down-to-earth style has gained her recognition in the fashion world. She recently posed for Vanity Fair in a floor-length, peach-colored dress rolled down to her waist. Her strategically-placed left arm covered just the right areas. Now she is being named to the ‘Best-Dressed List’.
Fan Bingbing, Chinese actress, singer and producer looks glamorous in any outfit she puts on. She carries herself so regally and she knows how to make her strong features work for her in just the proper way.
It’s only appropriate that one of the names behind a hot-selling brand is on the list. Stacey Bendet is C.E.O. and Creative Director of Alice & Olivia, an up and coming label with loads of potential. Being out in the public eye requires a sense of style and grace and a great deal of the luxurious fashions that we see Stacey appear in are some of her very own creations.
Diane Kruger was the admiration of the Cannes Film Festival. Her sweet beauty with a hint of innocence gives her an edge and women long for that special look. She wears the designers well and is seen in fashionable outfits of the season such as Chanel and Nina Ricci.
We all love Stella McCartney. Young and old alike are eager to wear her designs. For many years, Stella has been a trend-setting designer and when photographers see her coming, the cameras are focused her way. She dresses in her own unique and chic style and has a lifetime of experience at looking good.
Who is more deserving than Poppy Delevingne? Poppy is the British Fashion Council Ambassador and knows what to pair together to come up with a winning look. She exudes a sense of confidence in her fashion-forward style.
The sports world is represented by an aspiring triathlete, Elettra Wiedemann, whose hour-glass figure seems to look great in any outfit with an alluring fashion sense.
For the third time, Kate Middleton,Duchess of Cambridge, takes the honor with humble thanks. She is constantly photographed in simple yet very elegant fashions and top designers outfit her on a regular basis such as Alexander McQueen, Alice Temperley and Matthew Williamson. Young girls look up to Kate and we try and copy her style.
The list is not just about the women. Men set the trend as well.
Tom Brady scores a ten with every suit he walks out in. He reveals that one of his favorite clothing items is his “football uniform”. We love it too Tom!
Jay-Z, rapper and songwriter and entrepreneur, makes the list for his strong sense of style. We always see him dressed up and never down and he knows just the designer look to get him noticed.
Colin Firth has been in the limelight quite a bit lately and he has earned his honors by looking dapper and divine whenever he hits the Red Carpet.
Carlos Souza is worldwide brand ambassador for Valentino and knows how to dress in order to gain attention. He knows the proper accessories and always looks put together perfectly.
Victor Cruz suits up for the field and for the event. He has a strong sense of self and a definite ladies’ man in fashionable suits.
We all know Matt Lauer and have our coffee with him every weekday morning. He has made a name for the pinstripe suit and obviously a name for himself as he makes this year’s ‘Best-Dressed List’.
Prince Harry is royalty with an eye for fashion. Whether it be casual or formal, his boyish good looks command attention wherever he goes.
There is a wide range of winners this year with their own unique and original story. Winning this title means prestige and prominence and each portrays their own personality through their sense of style. With every photo that is snapped, we identify with the Vanity Fair ‘Best-Dressed List’
