Movie fans can vie for seats on The Oscar Red Carpet this coming February 24, 2013.
This week marked the beginning of a chance to enter online to become a part of a random drawing for bleacher seats to view the celebrity attendees and nominees as they make their way into the theater. With only 700 seats available, it is definitely time to get busy. In addition to seats, the winners of this Oscar fan experience will be invited to watch the Academy Awards at a nearby theatre and receive a gift bag as a memento.
Now is the time to go to www.oscars.org/insider before the application process ends on Friday, November 16, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. EST/5:00 p.m. PT. The entry must be completed online and no duplicate entries will be accepted.
Winners will be notified in November, 2012. Prior to final approval, additional information for security purposes will be required to be submitted. The final confirmation letter will be mailed to the lucky recipients in early January. You will be responsible for your airfare and hotel accomodations.
The highly-anticipated event will take place at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood, California. More than 225 countries worldwide will be watching on the ABC Television Network.
