As we look back in retrospect at the month of December, as it comes to a close, an event filled with uplifting emotion stands out amongst the rest. The 6th Annual Night of Generosity was held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel on Friday, December 5, 2014, from 7:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Generosity.org has dedicated itself to ending the plight of clean water crisis in developing countries, leaving behind a legacy of action on a global level. The non-profit organization is run by a group of young and ambitious individuals who have the welfare of others that are less fortunate, at heart. This, in turn, leads to brightness in their own lives as they experience pride and satisfaction. The mission of Generosity.org can be accomplished by others in a number of ways. Others are invited to donate to ‘help fund a well’, use their skills to start a legacy campaign of their own, or join the generous society. Not only does the effort come from the pocket, but from the heart as well.
On this particular December evening in California, the gala event was one to highlight the work of dedicated individuals and recognize all the major accomplishments of the organization.

Megan Fox was honored
Moët & Chandon helped celebrate the evening, dedicated to bringing clean water to 75,000 people in India, Ghana and Haiti, where notable guests were invited on stage to participate in sponsoring a water well in a developing country ($5K per well). Following the live auction, hosts Queen Latifah and E! News’ Jason Kennedy toasted the audience with glasses of Moët & Chandon as a thank you for their amazing contributions – including the philanthropic pair of Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox (honorees of the evening), who had funded a total of 12 water wells in support of the cause.

Since its inception, Generosity.org has transformed the total of people who did not easily have access to clean water from over 1 billion to 768 million in number. It is a continuous work in progress, but this is proof that results come to those who are dedicated and patient. Approximately $3.4 million has been proudly raised, with 338,242 people being helped, 561 projects funded and 19 countries served.
Through the means of these types of annual events such as the Night of Generosity, it is amazing how much money is raised to support a cause of giving these developing countries access to clean water. Thank you and wishes for another successful year to the mission in 2015!
