APPLE is at it again! Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, it certainly does. The cutting edge company is always finding innovative ways to reach out to its wide client base.

APPLE’s success has been evident this year as seen in second quarter results. Revenue topped $24.67 billion and record net profit of $5.99 billion. This far surpassed last year’s second quarter results. Loyal fans bought over 3.76 million MACs, 18.65 million iPhones (113% unit growth over a year ago) and 4.69 million iPads during the quarter.

In May of this year, APPLE updated its signature all-in-one iMac with quad-core processors, powerful new graphics, high-speed Thunderbolt i/o technology and a new FaceTime HD camera. At a reasonable price of $1,199, you are sure to get a much faster and more efficient computer.

E-book for iPad was introduced in May of this year targeting all those e-readers and kindle customers.

iMacs have continued to rank the top choice in the industry receiving Editor’s Choice awards from Computer Shopper, an honor indeed.

And now the newest innovation comes in three parts, just recently announced in the APPLE keynote speech presented by CEO, Steve Jobs. MAC OS X Lion, an advanced desktop operating system, will be available as a download from the MAC App Store in July for $29.99. It will bring over 250 new features which includes Multi-touch gestures, systemwide support for full-screen apps; Mission Control, a bird’s-eye view of all applications running on the MAC; Launchpad, a new home for all your apps, and a redesigned mail application. Some of the other fantastic features include improved drag and drop, picture-in-picture zoom and tap to zoom in Safari, swipe to navigate, push notifications from the Lion server, full screen chess and the list goes on and on.

The second piece is known as iOS 5.APPLE and boasts the most advanced mobile operating system, with over 200 new features that will be available as a free software update to iPad, iPhone and iPod touch users this fall. Associated with iOS 5 will be Notification Center where you can view and manage your notifications in one place without interruption; iMessage which is a creative messaging service and Newsstand, a leading edge way to purchase and organize newspaper and magazine subscriptions. The best part of all is the ability to get software updates over the air.

Lastly, we will see the introduction of iCloud, a set of free cloud services that work effortlessly with applications on your iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, MAC or PC to automatically and wirelessly store your content and push to all your devices. Inclusive in this package will be new versions of Contact, Calendar and Mail; iCloud backup and storage, Photo Stream and iTunes in the Cloud. iTunes Match will give you all the benefits of iTunes in the Cloud for music not purchased from iTunes and all for a super price of $24.99 per year.

MAC OS X Lion will be available in July while iOS 5 and iCloud will be available this fall.

As is expected, this is the buzz of the computer industry and APPLE once again leads the pack in creative and avant-garde ideas. We will be excited to read reviews from fans worldwide once these new items are released.
