BETSEY JOHNSON IS BACK!

During Mercedes-Benz Fall 2013 Fashion Week held in February, Betsey lit up the runway with her colorful and imaginative pieces and some very sporty and stylish exercise apparel. For a standing-room only crowd, she gave an animated performance of fashion and fun celebrating the collection with her famous cartwheel finale.
Today, March 13, 2013, Manhattan and Macy’s Herald Square, welcomed the queen of fashion herself, Betsey Johnson. Betsey launched her new dress collection in the windows of the department store giant in the heart of New York City as an exuberant crowd of fans watched.
As only this energetic and spirited young-at-heart designer could pull off, the life-sized windows of Macy’s were totally transformed from winter white into a Betsey masterpiece. The walls were painted along with the glass and the mannequins were all dressed up in some of her favorite choices from the collection.
The mannequins came alive with bright lipstick, champagne bottles and loads of sparkle and studs, thanks to the creative side of Betsey Johnson.
It is quite a whimsical dress collection with flattering silhouettes that are just plain fun to put on. Lots of vibrant colors, playful prints and modern shapes look sexy, pretty and give an inner sense of confidence, class and unique individuality. You become the woman you have always wanted to be.
Betsey could be seen right there in Macy’s commenting, “I’m back! Doing my dress thing. Pretty & punk, sweet & sexy, always rock n’roll”.
This new dress collection launched at Macy’s for the Spring/Summer 2013 Season at reasonable prices ranging from $99 to $249.
Betsey Johnson is set to become an even bigger star later this year as she takes on reality TV with her own television show paired with her daughter, Lulu and appropriately called ‘Betsey and Lulu’. The show will debut on the Style Network.
Betsey Johnson has a timeless style that will never fade throughout the generations. Welcome back Betsey!
