On Thursday, February 24, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz and Deputy Borough President Yvonne Graham observed Black History Month with a reception and celebration at Borough Hall.

The Honorees were Teri Coaxum, regional advocate for NY, NJ, PR & USVI, U.S. Small Business Administration; Kevin Jeffrey, Brooklyn Borough Commissioner of Parks and Recreation; and Jack and Jill of America, Brooklyn Chapter (Antoinette Brown, president).
