Boston Proper Fashions By Hope Wilkos, Writer/Blogger

Recently at Miami Beach International Fashion Week in Florida, a chic National fashion retailer with roots in South Florida took over the runway with their exotic, trend-setting styles. The name of that company is Boston Proper.
Boston Proper’s distinctive fashions provide clothing and accessories for the professional woman with an active lifestyle and an innovative approach to life.

The show began with resort wear in bright and vivid colors. The now popular maxi was shown with a halter top and flowing skirt in provocative colors of yellow, purple, green, orange, blue and black like paint splashed against the artist’s canvas. Another maxi had a contemporary appeal in geometric shapes and a variety of colors looking so flattering with a V-neck.
Tunics were abundant throughout the show. An embellished passionate pink tunic with embroidery and beading and versatile enough to be worn in a variety of different ways was paired with a white bikini. The long sleeves had a wide flare. Another beauty was the mirror-trim tie tunic in white with a gathered waistline bound by a bow.

The Palazzo pant took front and center stage for day, evening and the resort. Tribal print pants were shown in a bold batik pattern with a slimming seamed waist and wide-cut leg. Fabric was a packable rayon/spandex knit. The pants went well with a long black tube top. Animal paisley Palazzo pants had a flattering ruched waist and dramatic wide-cut leg. The look was fashionably fun paired with a crochet and fringe vest and gold bikini top.

As the sun sets, the white suit jacket and wide Palazzo pants are perfect for evening activities.

Dresses were popular in sensual colors. A leopard-print halter dress looked ravishing on the model with sparkly turquoise beading around the neckline of the polyester chiffon swing silhouette. The white crochet macrame one-shoulder dress is back with a fringe hem.

The exotic animal one-shoulder dress makes its debut with seamed waist and sash tie. A simple baby blue one-shoulder sheath looked stunning on a blond haired beauty.

Destination Club in the metallic one-shoulder tight fitting mini.

A royal blue dress with rounded beaded neckline with gathered bodice and short flowing skirt was the perfect example of femininity.
Some of the accessories included large bead necklaces with lots of turquoise. Straw totes are a beachwear must. Gold bangle bracelets dress up any outfit.
