The founder behind this fury of fashion is Jessica Uchuya. Young, energetic and beautiful, this driven entrepreneur has always had a flair for style and love of beautiful designs. Her college major was business because the plan was to someday take over the responsibilities of the family’s famed restaurant, Joe’s Stone Crab which was established on Miami Beach in 1913 and enjoying success almost 100 years later.
But Jessica’s heart had always been in fashion and so eight years ago while following a dream, she opened her first boutique in Aventura, Florida at 20533 Biscayne Boulevard. The unique designs that Jessie Boutique offered attracted clients of every age group. Her variety of merchandise ranged from clothing to accessories to jackets to denims to shoes to children’s clothes. Jessica put all her efforts into making this store an overnight success and the outcome speaks for itself. Three and a half years ago, Jessica opened her next boutique right in the middle of trend-setting South Beach at 1708 Alton Road drawing in international customers who were mesmerized by the designer fashions that she carried. Being cognizant of her customers’ needs, she began to realize that a good number of them were driving down from Boca Raton, Florida, just to shop at her boutique. It was flattering to realize just how many followers she really had but now it was time to make it even easier for them to shop at Jessie Boutique. From there, the Boca Raton location at 6006 S.W. 18th Street was born.
It is difficult not to admire Jessica Uchuya for the realization of a dream. She now spends her time between all three stores making sure her clients are wholeheartedly satisfied and relating to them on a most personal basis greeting them with a big smile once they walk into the boutique.
Who is Jessica’s customer? It is the all-around woman whether she is career-oriented and always on the go or the stay-at-home mom looking to get a most exquisite outfit for the party on Saturday evening. It is the mother or the daughter or the customer who knows exactly what she wants and is in and out because she totally trusts that Jessica knows exactly what she is looking for and will pick out the perfect outfit to flatter and impress.
Each one of the boutiques have all the latest celebrity styles, glamour and glitter and sequins to sweep you away for the holidays and even swimwear that will look gorgeous on that winter cruise. Make the moment count in designer fashions from Alice & Olivia, L-Space, Joie, Alexis, Citizens of Humanity, Mara Hoffman, Haute Hippie, Cynthia Vincent, J.Brand, Rachel Zoe, Wildfox and so many original and yet popular labels. Based and Jessica makes sure to attend each Fashion Week that takes place to stay abreast of next season’s fashions and to stock her boutiques with the latest fashions for her loyal clientele.

When asked what the key to her success seems to be, she doesn’t even have to think about the answer. Her response is immediate and sincere as she says, “I have good people working for me.”
