CB2 HELPS FEED THE HUNGRY CHILDREN

On November 1, 2012, CB2 launched their 500,000 Meal Drive to benefit children in need. CB2 is one of the leaders in the furnishings industry with their fresh and innovative approach to home decor in a modern and easily affordable way. They are on a mission to win the fight against child hunger in America.
Every interaction that each customer has with CB2 provides a needy child with access to a meal and the overriding goal is to feed 500,000 children throughout the nation.
How is this accomplished? In order to provide access to a meal, customers can visit CB2’s Facebook page and simply click “LIKE” in addition to tweeting, tagging, pinning, reviewing, signing up for brand emails, applying for a credit card or making a purchase at any CB2 location within the United States, Canada and British Columbia.
CB2 has partnered with Share Our Strength to support the campaign and make the wish become a reality. Share Our Strength has one main priority and that is to end childhood hunger in America. This problem is more common than you may think. One in five children struggles with hunger on a daily basis. This campaign connects kids in need with nutritious food and teaches their families how to cook healthy, affordable meals. Getting the word out is crucial so there is more participation from the public. Social media is the optimum avenue to make this happen. This No Kid Hungry network is made up of private citizens, government officials, business leaders and others providing innovative hunger solutions within the community. All the partners work together to implement solutions that break down barriers that keep kids from eating healthy foods.
Whereas last year each CB2 store donated to a local food bank and CB2.com donated directly to Share Our Strength, this year they will all work together to reach an unprecedented and overarching goal of 500,000 meals.
Every interaction counts including yours. There will be a counter on www.cb2.com that will update daily so customers can see how the brand is progressing towards achieving this generous goal. CB2 is well on the way with a total of 283,389 meals donated to date since November 1st. Great work!
