Fashion conscious retailer, Banana Republic, has mastered the clothing, shoe and accessory business and they have become the classic label for the popular AMC Hit Series, “Mad Men”.

Now the retailer is moving into a new realm. With the arrival of the holidays just around the corner, Banana Republic is taking on the task of designing wine bottles in a stylishly superb fashion.

Collaborating with wine experts, Clois du Bois, they are producing limited edition wine bottles featuring labels designed by the brand’s creative director, Simon Kneen.

Two of the very best, a 2010 North Coast Chardonnay retailing at $16.99 and a 2008 North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon retailing at $18.99, will show off the labels with every sophisticated sip that you take. The back labels will have a QR code which taps directly into holiday music downloads, style tips from Kneen and wine pairing and entertaining suggestions from a Clois du Bois winemaker, Gary Sitton. Ingenious ideas are sure to make these two top sellers.
