As the palm trees were swaying in the breeze, the atmosphere by the pool at City Palms Condominium was relaxed in a sociable setting. City Palms is a relatively new condominium complex in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida close to Palm Beach where a fashion event took place on Thursday evening, April 14th, out at the pool deck as the sun started to descend in the late afternoon sky.
In an ingenious effort to attract new buyers, the companies behind City Palms Condominium (The Carlyle Group, McWilliams/Ballard, The Interiors Group, Akseizer Design Group)held a Lilly Pulitzer still fashion presentation out by the pool accompanied by a lovely team of synchronized swimmers who performed to music for the curious onlookers.
Refreshments and hors d’oeuvres were served as well.
The swimsuit fashions were tropical and carefree with brilliant colors in bikinis and one piece suits in the spirited tradition of Lilly Pulitzer. The Seaspray halter top bikini was filled with bright daisies and not far away was a model wearing the Foxi one piece swimsuit which was very similar in the same daisy pattern.
A pastel colored bikini in greens, pinks and blues brought forth the Florida lifestyle and would definitely look great against the Florida sun and surf. A blond beauty was in a light blue one piece suit decoratively adorned with pink full flowers which complimented her slim figure.
Pulitzer has such a special technique of blending pastels and patterns together to accentuate the beauty of the woman who will wear her swimsuits.
The synchronized swimmers also had on decorative suits that were aesthetically pleasing as all the onlookers watched the routines. The swimmers performed like graceful mermaids.
There was other excitement going on as well. Donations were being accepted to help the Susan G. Komen South Florida Race for the Cure and put an end to Breast Cancer. City Palms was offering to new buyers for a limited time ‘1 year free condo fees’ good until May 31st.
