A COLLECTION OF CLASS BY RALPH RUCCI – FALL 2013

Ralph Rucci is a man of incredible talent and driven dedication to his craft. He is constantly in the creative state of mind and forever raises the bar with each collection that is unveiled. We marvel in his attention to resplendent workmanship. Each piece is intricately sewn right in the heart of New York City.
Rucci made sure that we immediately fell in love with his Fall 2013 Collection. The cut of the fabrics and the way they fell against the body were almost like a captivating work of art. Excited to be a part of the evening was singer, actress and author, Sandra Bernhard, as well as magnate and author, Martha Stewart. They are both women that enjoy independence and are huge fans of Rucci’s striking collections.
With so many outstanding awards to his name, Rucci seems to savor in the tranquility and refined beauty that his collections continually represent. The stage was set as the models graced the runway for this fashion week presentation.
Black is a color of strength and majesty and Rucci presented it in many magnificent ways. We rejoiced at the black leather suit, black mink and feather coat, a black wool crepe suit and then the richness and refinement of the black lace dress and faux fur coat, the black leather and velvet gown and the stunning black bugle beaded dress.
Not only did we lavish in black but mustard yellow, vivid violet, pleasurable pink paired with a black sequined tunic top and gorgeous gold and white also played a special role on this runway.
As is customary for this originally orchestrated designer, he uses fabric as if it was his artist’s palette with chiffon, cashmere, wool, tulle insets, flannel, sable, vinyl and feathers in flavorful combinations.
The entire collection was absolutely stunning and each piece was even more gorgeous than the last.
Now that Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week has come to a close, Ralph Rucci will be launching a furniture line for Holly Hunt in March at an esteemed event at the HH Showroom in New York. Great minds are never at rest and towards the end of the year, we will be seeing a collection of carpets for Roubini Rugs and then we are looking forward to the new handbag line that this artistic designer will be launching as well.
It is clearly evident that Ralph Rucci clothing is a way of life, an elegance that every woman longs to be a part of.
