Come One, Come All to the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival

As New York City prepares for what promises to be twelve stimulating days of film, art and culture, the excitement only continues to build for an event that lets newcomers to the world of film as well as enthusiastic repeat film attendees, reap the benefits of all that Tribeca Film Festival has to offer.  The festival begins on April 16th and continues through April 27th, 2014.

New presenting sponsor and technology giant, AT&T, is extending an invitation to the public to attend Tribeca Film Festival movies for FREE on Friday, April 25, 2014.

This is a brand new concept allowing film buffs to enter the world of creativity from talent across the globe. See what the festival is all about and all the magic it has to offer.

Thirty-five films will be screened at the Festival venues throughout the day, including Time is Illmatic, which takes a look at legendary rapper Nas and his iconic debut album 20 years after its release; a work-in-progress screening of Louie Psihoyos’ (The Cove) new documentary 6 on a team of activists who risk their lives to shed light on species extinction; Gia Coppola’s directorial debut Palo Alto staring Emma Roberts and James Franco; the comedic drama The One I Love starring Elisabeth Moss and Mark Duplass; and This Time Next Year, a documentary that examines the recovery of a New Jersey town one year after Hurricane Sandy.

So how can you take advantage of an offer that is this awesome?  Very simply, go to any AT&T company-owned retail location in all of the New York boroughs as well as Hoboken and Edgewater locations in New Jersey.  Once you have been selected, your ticket will be emailed to you. Mark April 14th through the 17th on your calendar for all of this to take place.  You also have another option if you would like tickets.  Any Tribeca Film Festival box office location will be able to accommodate you.

  • Bow Tie Cinemas Chelsea 9, 260 W 23rd St between 7th & 8th Avenues
  • Tribeca Cinemas, 54 Varick St at Laight Street

Once April 17th comes around, tickets will be given out based on availability at TribecaFilm.com.  The final option is to go through the Festival rush lines that open 45 minutes prior to each screening on a first-come, first-serve basis. All tickets are subject to availability and two screening tickets per person.

Attending Tribeca Film Festival is an experience that you don’t want to let slip by. It all takes place for FREE on Friday, April 25, 2014.  The film festival captures everything from documentaries to ‘shorts’ to comedies to sports films to biographies to panel discussions with seasoned actors and directors.
