This latest Fall 2013 fashion presentation shown at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week brought out the stars excited to see what was in store for them.
Brooke Shields came to view the collection dressed in an amethyst one-shoulder silk dress from Son Jung Wan’s Spring 2013 Collection. She is a huge fan of the designer and looked to be enjoying every minute of the show.
The theme of this collection was “Dynamic Romance” and it was filled with jewel tone gowns, chic felt neutral jackets and caramel pleated wool dresses. Mink was plentiful in coats, stoles and even vests. Fur adorned a good number of the pieces shown with elegance and brilliance.
Body suits were warm and welcoming white while golden short jumpsuits fit our fancy.
The inspiration behind this collection was two well-known Russian icons, Kandinsky and Catherine Palace. The colors were so bold and attention-grabbing in shades of ox blood red, Sapphire blue and violet accents. Metallics were mighty mesmerizing. Plunging necklines and free-flowing fabric give a slight sultry feel.
The details to the clothing were simply delectable. The movement of the fabric gave off an air of confidence and coolness. Velvets were rich and oozing with the flavor of the season.
Wan gave us a dazzling finale as her final look was a magnetic fox fur coat with sequins and a chic gold sequined tank jumper.
Each season Son Jung Wan fine tunes her skills to bring her loyal fans an even more divine collection than the seasons past. She is one of the largest Korean design labels in the country grossing over $37 billion in 2009 with 37 stores carrying her brand, an accomplishment that has catapulted her to the top of her industry.
Son is quite an acccomplished designer, philanthropist, traveler and art collector. She is one to designer to watch in the coming seasons.
