Stress levels have been high lately with all the natural disasters occurring around the nation. There has never been a better time to get away then now.

Grand Cayman, a magical paradise, is considered to be one of the best dive destinations. The Cayman Islands have also been awarded the #1 Travel Destination in the Caribbean and Mexico by TripAdvisor Travelers. Wake up to sunny skies and clear blue seas as far as the horizon can reach. Right now, until September 30th, experience Cayman Summer Splash. Kids stay, play and eat for free and receive the opportunity to attend Cayman Islands Sea School for free and learn about Cayman’s famed marine environment.

For travelers that enjoy art and culture, the Heritage House is offering a free craft session and/or demonstration day. You will be lucky enough to interact with local artisans during the weekly craft session. This will give you some interesting background into the Cayman’s incomparable culture and past.
From September 8th – October 20th, ‘Cayman Madness’ hits the colorful reefs of the Cayman Islands. Book your dive adventure with this promotion and the package will include 7 nights accommodation, 2 nights of dinners/parties, five 2-tank dives, return airfare on Cayman Airways and other great perks.

The Cayman Islands are made up of Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac, Little Cayman and Nature Cayman. Nature lovers will rejoice at the sound of the noisy Cayman parrot and the sneaky blue iguana sunning himself as he eyes his onlookers. At certain times, you are able to take a peek at Green Sea Turtle hatchlings making their way into the Caribbean. Parks on Grand Cayman offer brilliant colors on native trees and bushes. The Banana Orchid is one of nature’s beauties. Nature preservation is a big part of the residents’ lives. The National Trust for the Cayman Islands Law of 1987 created the National trust as a non-profit, statutory body to preserve and conserve the environment and maritime heritage.

Beaches are unparalleled with soft white sand that will tickle your toes as your feet sink in. If exercise is your preference, go walking, hiking or biking along the peaceful and appealing roads and paths. Over 200 species of birds, herons and rare West Indian whistling-duck make the Grand Cayman Islands their home.

There is nothing more amazing than the astonishing cliff with its 140-foot bluff reaching vertically from the sea floor.
Divers delight! With close to 225 unmatched dive sites within your realm of vacationland in a variety of colors, you will be captivated by the marine life.

Superior underwater photography will capture your encounters forever and you will be able to view again and again with friends and family. Dive enthusiasts have a choice of the type of diving that they would like to experience during their stay.

Go wall diving or try the World’s Best 12 Foot Dive – Stingray City in the North Sound where you are able to swim amongst the rays and reach out and touch them. Take a boat out to some of the unusual underwater sites such as Babylon, Omega Reef, Valley of the Dolls, Barrel Sponge Reef, Cinderella’s Castle, Dragon’s Lair, Grouper Grotto, The Maze, Scuba Bowl (named shortly after a DEMA show), Kangaroo Gorge and Fantasea Land. Stretching from 20′ down to over 100′ down, divers will excite to view giant barrel sponges, the 8′ Feather Plume, Bermuda Chubb, snappers, tarpon, Lettuce Leaf Sea Slugs, a winding wall face with 2 large pinnacles and a massive mushroom formation resembling a church spire, Sal the Seahorse, a six-foot green moray and so much more. Swim carefully through canyons and underwater passageways.

For more advanced divers, wreck diving offers an assortment of great dives. The USS Kittiwake Shipwreck was recently sunk in January of this year and is quickly becoming one of Cayman’s most sought after dives. Other wrecks that contain exotic sealife include Doc Poulson and Kirk Pride. One of the historic wrecks is the only divable Russian warship in the Western Hemisphere. The MV Keith Tibbetts was sunk in 1996 in order to become an artificial reef and because of this passage of time, is loaded with some phenomenal corals and fish that call it home.

With so much to do and so much to see, delicious cuisine to savor and an island full of friendly citizens to greet you and make your vacation memorable, this is the vacation destination to check into and jet off to hands down!
