Pastels painted a pretty palette at Luxe by Lisa Vogel at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim held in Miami Beach, Florida in July.
Tiny and sexy bikinis in solids and prints perked up the runway. Model’s curves were highlighted in sleek fitting suits of high quality material.
The maillot was very popular on the catwalk. Hues of white and seafoam were simple yet classic in beauty. A halter top maillot was delicate in pale yellow with a featherprint of orangish-red and slight purple intertwined together.
Amethyst and bright pink were striking combinations for a plunging statusphere maillot completed with gold dangle earrings and beige heels.
The biggest trend of the season is still the animal print. A cheetah print maillot fastened with a tie at one shoulder couldn’t have been more fitting for a blond tanned beauty in a floppy black hat with a sheer black cover-up poncho.
Giving a unique flair to the average bikini was embellishment and lace. A triangle lace tie two-piece suit had a pattern which resembled snowflakes.
A black bikini was adorned with gold stones on the top and bottom of the suit looking flashy and festive.
Experimenting in individuality, solid colors were mixed and matched with prints that actually paired wonderfully together.
The tankini made a brief appearance during the show as well. The statusphere babydoll tankini with plunging neckline was simply adorable.
A jet black tankini with a V-shaped slit at the bodice revealed a white bandeau top underneath fastened at the top with a silver brooch. Black canvas wedges completed the total look.
Not only were suits important in the new Luxe Collection but cover-ups played a very important role too. Lightweight and sheer ponchos in pretty prints were designed with matching suits in mind. Gold and statusphere tunics and featherweight caftans are easily coordinated with any type of swimwear.
Tab side pants in lightweight blousy fabrics can be slipped over a luxedo bandeau top.
The show was a huge success and drew large crowds. Famous bachelorette, Ali Fedotowsky, was spotted admiring the glamorous fashions from the front row. Lisa Vogel appropriately received the ‘Mercedes-Benz Presents’ award this year. This honor is bestowed upon designers that demonstrate dedication to the use of quality materials, unique style and innovative design. Vogel’s expertise and experience in the swimwear industry is exemplified in this top-rated collection.
We will be seeing much more of Luxe by Lisa Vogel in the future and fans are looking forward to seeing what Lisa has in store for them next year at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim.
