Gucci and GRAMMY have more in common than you would imagine. If the words class and sophistication come to mind, they would be appropriate synonyms.

Gucci has been recognized all across the world as a first-class Italian design company that was started in 1921 and made a name for itself with its impeccable products. The brand is most widely known for its fine leather goods but you will also find jewelry and eyewear popular with the masses.
The Latin Recording Academy is highly acclaimed for producing the Latin Grammy Awards to honor excellence in the recorded arts and sciences. But there is so much more. It is an International, membership-based organization comprised of Spanish and Portuguese-speaking recording artists, musicians, songwriters, producers and many more creative recording professionals. The Academy also provides educational and outreach programs for the Latin music community. Now there is artistic energy in the works as Gucci Timepieces and Jewelry partners with The Latin Recording Academy to launch a special edition Latin GRAMMY watch and jewelry collection, bringing together fashion and music to express a passion for the arts in timeless ways. Fred Giannini is the designer behind the idea. The timepiece captivates your senses featuring a broad watch face that changes from a two-time zone dial in large digits to a more streamlined version with 2 digital hands showing local time, inclusive of multiple Latin American locations.

There is a special tag celebrating the Latin GRAMMY partnership. The wide, black rubber strap will compliment every wrist that it is slipped onto. The case back features the Latin GRAMMY Awards special edition label. What makes this watch so versatile are the many functions it is able to accomplish such as chronometer, countdown and others. To go with this is a splendid Guccissima black leather bracelet. On the clasp, it is etched with the gramophone symbol and the Gucci logo bonding the partnership as one.

This collection benefits The Latin Recording Academy in its support of young and emerging talent on the international music scheme in addition to spreading the word of the importance of culture. Students are able to pursue a musical career through understanding the industry.
In an effort to promote the sleek, new products, Gucci Timepieces and Jewelry will host an exclusive suite in Las Vegas at The Mandalay Bay Hotel. There will be a section integrated into the Music through Time exhibit transporting the viewers to Puerto Rico, The U.S., Mexico, Columbia, Panama and Chile.
At the 12th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards, each of the young emerging Latin artists will receive a Gucci Timepieces and Jewelry Award.
Some of the greatest GRAMMY nominees of all times have been faithful followers of Gucci for some time now. Jennifer Lopez, Fergie of The Black Eyed Peas, Mary J. Blige, Marc Anthony, Eric Clapton, Elton John, Alicia Keys, Madonna, Rod Stewart, Barbara Streisand and Justin TImberlake all fit into this niche.

There is nothing more rewarding than bringing design and music together.
