HEAD TO BERLIN FOR MERCEDES-BENZ FASHION WEEK S/S 2013

Fashion is at its finest in Berlin, Germany as Mercedes-Benz Berlin Spring/Summer 2013  gets underway from July 4 – July 7, 2012.  The experts in the fashion and media world come together to preview four full days of magnificent collections.

The event kicks off with a bang on July 4th as Escada Sport ignites the runway with new and upbeat designs.  Their classic tailoring and contemporary patterns create quite the stir and always turn heads.

There is so much to look forward to as designers such as the delightfully feminine, Lena Hoschek, once again is inspired to create a collection that is a true reflection of the ideals of the woman of yesterday, today and tomorrow.

HUGO by Hugo Boss dresses both the man and the woman in unique patterns, fabrics and stylish clothing created by one of the most trusted brands in the industry.  HUGO has branched out into the world of accessories, fragrances and shoes pleasing a worldwide customer base.

Kirsten Albers puts high fashion into perspective with the newest Spring/Summer 2013 collection from Blacky Dress.  Brilliant colors accent the beauty of the modern woman.  Simple but savvy is the perfect theme to put into place.

Check out the inspiration and the passion of Minx by Eva Lutz.  Her sophistication and detailed craftsmanship give clothing that marked individuality.

These are but just a few of the various designers debuting their Spring/Summer 2013 collections during these four fabulous days of Fashion Week.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin has been spanning the globe to find the next “it” designer.  Highly respected designer, Marc Jacobs, is hosting the 2012 Designer for Tomorrow competition.  Five finalists hailing from Barcelona, London, Copenhagen and Berlin will compete to win the coveted title.  New talent is waiting to rise and follow in the footsteps of some of our brightest mentors in the fashion world such as Jacobs himself, fashion director of Louis Vuitton.  The greatest recognition of all will be the grand prize, the winner will be presenting their very own collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin in January of the following year along with many other great prizes giving them the support and exposure required to make it big.

The big white tents are up, everything is in place for the models to strut their stuff in front of a widespread fashion-conscious audience and trend-setting fashions will be the buzz for Spring/Summer 2013.
