Karlie’s Fashionable ‘Kookies’

Who could imagine that wholesome sweetness could be beyond satisfying?
When Karlie Kloss isn’t posing for some of the hottest fashion campaigns and most desired designers or strutting down the runway looking vivacious for the ever popular retailer, Victoria’s Secret, she is giving back through baking to those that need it the most.
‘Cookies For Kids’ is a national non-profit organization dedicated to funding research to find safer, more effective treatments for pediatric cancer. Earlier this year, Karlie participated in a benefit to raise much needed funding and to bring awareness to the issue. She baked her ‘Perfect 10’ cookies.
Karlie’s Kookies are not just your ordinary cookie. The supermodel has used one of her many talents to create a fashionably wholesome cookie line that is filled with delicious ingredients. Her ‘Perfect 10 Kookie Tin‘ is dairy-free, gluten-free and filled with ingredients for the health-conscious individual such almond flour, olive oil, agave and almonds. No butter, sugar or eggs are used. They are available at Momofuku Milk Bar and online at www.shopmilkbar. Through the sale of a portion of her cookies, Karlie is contributing to FEED, a philanthropic organization with a warm heart and outstanding intentions. They feed and educate hungry children. So far, her efforts have contributed to the donation of 419,535 meals. That is definitely a number to bat a few eyelashes at. The statistics break out this way; for each ‘Perfect 10’ cookie sold, 10 school meals are provided to kids in need.
So Karlie has combined her passion for nutrition, fitness and baking into a philanthropic end product for all. Besides being able to buy the cookies online, if you just happen to be out and about in New York City at certain times of the year, you just might be lucky enough to see the ‘Kookie Truck‘ selling this savory treat and Christina Tosi of The Milk Bar helping Karlie to spread the sweetness. During New York Fashion Week, it isn’t unusual to see Karlie around Lincoln Center giving Fashion Week attendees a reason to pull out their wallets for this delectable wholesome treat.
We hail the supermodel for all of her bountiful efforts in the name of philanthropy, FEED and ‘Cookies For Kids‘. Her baking has brought happiness to many of those in need.
