Ralph Lauren is one of those designers that can turn any event into a royal gala. Just a few days prior to Halloween, on October 28, 2013, Ralph Lauren hosted a screening of Alfred Hitchcock’s ‘To Catch A Thief’ at MoMA (Museum of Modern Art). It was a high society event that attracted a large crowd of friends, business associates and industry professionals.
An impressive guest list made their grand entrance not only enjoy an evening of fine art and culture, but to support the Princess Grace Foundation which is an organization dedicated to identifying and assisting emerging talent in theater, dance and film by awarding grants in the form of scholarships, apprenticeships and fellowships. With gracious efforts such as this event, the organization succeeds with overwhelming results.
Coco Rocha, Toni Collette and Dylan McDermott, Kyle MacLachlan, Barbara Walters, Chris Noth, Tara Wilson, Chanel Iman, Gayle King, and even Princess Charlene of Monaco were all familiar faces in simple yet stunning outfits of black and white and everything in between.
The evening toasted not only a most memorable and action-packed film of the century but also the host and hostess of the evening, Ralph and Ricky Lauren.
Following in his father’s footsteps, Andrew Lauren was warm and extremely personable as he welcomed guests to the Ralph Lauren Women’s Store for drinks in philanthropic fashion in the heart of New York City.
It was the social event of the season, a toast to the generosity of a famed designer who continues to give back in a number of magical ways.
