Meet me there………….Think exotic lands of sunshine and serene blue seas. That is the symbolic image of a swimwear brand that can fly you around the world and back just by slipping into the elegant swimwear of 6 Shore Road by Pooja.
The designer herself has been a passionate world traveler, soaking up the many different cultures from all the magnificent destinations that she has had the opportunity to visit, such as Hong Kong, Panama, Curacao, Isla Grande and 7 Mile Beach in Negril. Pooja Kharbanda combined her love for fashion and her aggressive sense of style to launch 6 Shore Road in 2010. It was the birth of an extension of her personality and she let her creativity run wild as she had fond memories of magical moments in the Hamptons. Her travel memories still stick with her as she designs collection after collection, season after season.
Starting small with kaftans and coverups, it was only a matter of time before the brand grew to include swimwear. Blossoming into one of the most popular swimwear brands that can be found in SAKS STORES, NEIMAN MARCUS, SHOPBOP, URBAN OUTFITTERS, ANTHROPOLOGIE, W HOTELS AND OTHER KEY RETAILERS AROUND THE WORLD, 6 Shore Road has also become one of the luxurious labels to grace the runway many times at the most prestigious Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim that is held in Miami Beach on an annual basis. This year was no different as Pooja held her runway show as a means to debut her newest 2015 Swimwear collection on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim which was held from July 17th through the 21st.
Pooja has always been extremely excited about what her brand represents and she has drawn a huge following from Hollywood celebrities such as ASHLEY TISDALE, KIM KARDASHIAN, KRISTIN CAVALLARI & ASHLEY SIMPSON.

This newest collection that was runway ready on the evening of July 20, 2014, at the Cabana Grande located within the Raleigh Hotel in Miami Beach, was an abundance of brilliant pieces that can easily be worn throughout the weekend or to soak up the waves along the shoreline, wherever your destination takes you. One piece suits gave off a glimmer of brightness along with graphics that hypnotize you as they are emblazoned on the fabrics and take shape on both swimsuits and coverups.
The models strutted down the runway with tightly braided hair and a bronzed beach look. Step into luxury in brilliantly colored jumpsuits that are meant to be worn to more than just the beach. They are casual, they are classy. Bring your summer wardrobe to life with 6 Shore Road.
Free flowing tops sparkling off the cameras with just the right amount of sequins and body hugging mini dresses can be thrown on after a full day of sand, sun and surf.
One of the most lavish swimwear pieces of the collection was the one piece halter tie-top suit of gold that will be sure to attract all kinds of compliments.
Rash guards in colors of the rainbow with solid color long sleeves are great to accessorize the bikini aboard the boat. Unique back and side closures captivated our interest as a refreshing change to dress up the solid swimsuit.
Just surveying each piece on the runway, whether it was a swimsuit or a coverup, transported us through many desirable destinations and if we felt that engaged for this brief period of time, then Pooja Kharbanda has achieved her mission and this collection is sure to be a big success.
