OAKLEY LIGHTS UP THE NIGHT

The name is Oakley. The place to be was at Hyde Beach at the luxurious SLS Hotel on the evening of July 22, 2012 in South Beach. As part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim 2013, Oakley launched their Spring ’13 Swim Collection with a runway show hosted by The Trimera Group, a catalyst in the retail world and distributor of this new and exciting collection.
The runway lit up as pro-surfer Erica Hosseini took to the stage to model some of the superb swimsuits that sets Oakley apart from the rest. Cutaway one-piece suits in passive pastels and geometric design suits in magnetic hues certainly could fit the lifestyle of the water enthusiast or the lover of sand and surf. Side-tie bikini bottoms paired with adjustable bikini tops in brazen blue trimmed in black got five stars as the models sauntered down the runway smiling with every step that they took.
This latest swimsuit fabric is exclusively designed with increased durability, a sure draw to this swimwear line.
Accessories included long feminine chain necklaces from UNO de 50 Jewelry, classy yet contemporary.
DJ Nick Cannon was on hand to spin some super tunes for the celebration. His significant other, Mariah Carey, stayed home on this evening as he grabbed the spotlight and got the crowds on their feet dancing to the mixed sounds of rap, oldies and old-time favorites.
All the swimsuit models were having fun with legendary rapper, Lil Jon. He proudly displayed his Oakley shades as he rocked to the sounds of the evening played by his friend, DJ Nick Cannon.
Guests were able to walk the red carpet and have their photo taken under the bright lights so they would be able to relive the moment over and over again.
It was an evening of fun and frolic under the stars of South Beach. Oakley sets the stage once again. Swimsuits are available at all Oakley stores and major retail department stores.
