Oprah Winfrey bought 10% of Weight Watchers stock at the hefty price of 43.2 million.
This year Weight Watchers had lost stock value, however since Oprah’s investment the stock leapt past 100%.
Oprah will follow the Weight Watcher weight loss program as well as serve on the board of directors.
A great move by Lady O, she surely doubled her investment!
