Peter Kelly Is Living The Dream

Becoming a success does not happen overnight. It takes persistence, hard work, plenty of talent and the ability to put a positive spin on every situation. While some may not have heard the meaningful music of Peter Kelly just yet, it is a name that is quickly being etched in our memory banks.

Kelly is one of those down to earth singer/songwriter/musicians who has combined all of his talents into one unique concept. Every song is emotionally charged, unforgettable and provides us with a much-needed avenue of escape at just the right time.
Always depending on a mentor for inspiration, Kelly has more than just one individual who has greatly influenced his creativity. Great bands such as Coldplay, Imagine Dragons and artists with a power to seize the music world such as John Mayer, Pink and Katy Perry, have all had an impact on his musical career. It is such a diversified list of influential powerhouses that have inspired him to step into the current state of life that he exists in.
It is one thing to write a song but quite another to make it your own by “breathing life into it” as Kelly likes to put it. As one radio host said, “Peter Kelly is like the Bruce Springsteen of our generation.” Like all great artists, his career began as the front man for a band called Hemenway. The band attracted the ear of Sid Bernstein who had promoted the Beatles. Kelly continued his walk to fame by joining up with a New York City country band after leaving Hemenway and that quickly led to the introduction of a producer to him who has remained active in Kelly’s career ever since, John Campos.

Going it as a solo act takes courage, determination, diligence and the belief that you can climb even the tallest of mountains. Kelly has spread his sound via social media channels, live performances, videos and even in winning films as part of the title track. So within a few years, Peter Kelly has almost reached the peak of the mountain.
His first single’Forever Again’ which was released in 2012, was the title track for a short film titled ‘Thanks Dad.‘ The film became a finalist at the 2012 Tropfest Film Festival. Kelly proudly performed his song ‘Oz’ at the United Nations Correspondent Awards Ceremony at Cipriani in New York City. His most recent achievement came in February of this year when he was selected as ‘Artist of the Month’ by 474 The Mix. Peter Kelly continues to create and sing. Not only are his songs widely enjoyed on the radio, but they continue to be feature tracks in many a film.
We only get one chance to reach for the moon and live our dream. Peter Kelly is one of those shining examples that makes living our dreams seem very easy. When you discover the formula to make it all come together, go for it as Peter has and know that anything can be accomplished if you really want to hang on to that dream and make it a reality.
