For the playful of heart and seductive of soul, Beach Bunny 2012 Cruise Collection is definitely right up your alley. With silk and lace, feathers and satin and embellishment, this sexy swimwear will take you from the beach to the bedroom in the blink of an eye. Accessorized in beads, pearls and diamonds, the models had big smiles that could set the world on fire as they graced the catwalk at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim 2012.
The collection is inspired by the 1930’s showgirl with designs such as nautical stripes, polka dots and cheetah prints. For a bit of nostalgia, you are transfixed by flirty oversized bows, appliqued lace flowers and crystal chain jewelry.
Each suit had a distinctive fit and flair. A black and white bikini was draped in a black fringe 30’s skirt which seemed to move to the beat on her hips.
Black and white polka dots were finished with a big yellow bow on the bikini top and a thick yellow lace trim on the bottom. What a great contrasting color!
A deep blue sequined monokini was glistening with jeweled halter straps.
Exquisite handcrafted detail was seen in a deep blue jacket worn over a bikini decked in a red satin bow and lace trim.
Fans were bedazzled with gunmetal sequins with a draped hip piece bottom, black sequin shorts as well as a watercolor tunic with a jeweled neckline.
Ruched bottoms were popular and seen numerous times on the catwalk. Models had cherry red lips and jewels holding their flowing long curls in place.
Sports Illustrated vivacious beauty, Kate Upton, made her debut down the runway in a ruffled triangle top with a crystal hip piece bottom.
The night was full of surprises with the introduction of the Beach Bunny Bride Line.
This was definitely the premiere bridal swimwear collection. Some of the original extras adorning the white suits were hand-beaded pearls, delicate Chantilly lace and Swarovski crystals. These suits are every girl’s dream come true. Large oversized bows on the backs of some of the suits made like an improvised bridal train.
The lace and chiffon caftan with crystal detail is a perfect fit for the bride ready to please her new husband. A tiny white bikini was loaded with ruffles and looking adorable.
The necklaces were part of the total bridal look.
Cheetah prints were mixed with silk and diamonds for the ultimate encounter. Paired with black sequin shorts, the outfit will certainly entice.
The pink and black bikini was a mixture of bad girl with sweet but secretive thoughts.
The ultimate ending took place as Kate Upton walked down the aisle in a glamorous suit of satin with diamonds and pearls, ruched bottom and fulfilling the fantasy in a bridal veil carrying a bouquet of red roses.
This will be the most talked about show of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim 2012.
