As if Times Square couldn’t get any busier, the evening of Tuesday, May 3, 2016, drew an epic crowd to celebrate ‘SWATCH’s Night Of POP.’  This marked the grand opening of SWATCH’s flagship store. Although the store was previously located in Times Square, it now is located in the former breezeway of the Marriott Marquee hotel. The retailer has made this location much larger, 4300 square feet, and shoppers can look forward to a unique interactive experience as soon as they walk through the door. The store is equipped with viewfinders that will give browsers a sightseeing tour of the city of New York. The display cases have been made to resemble some of the things that New York City is so famous for, such as hot dog stands.

On this particular evening, party goers gathered round to get a look at some of the models of the moment that were present to cheer the Swiss watch company on. Olivia Culpo, Chanel Iman and Nina Agdal posed for pictures throughout the evening. Looking gorgeous, the girls added a bit of ‘PoP’ to the evening’s events. Nina looked amazing in a sequined Discount Universe beaded dress with a huge eye and lips right in the middle. She felt it really fit in with the theme of the night. Also giving some satisfying sounds to attract fans was D.J. Johnny Wujek, spinning in his own booth. Olivia was still beaming from the previous evening when she was a guest fashion critic of E! Live From The Met Gala Red Carpet.

Adding to the excitement, the launch party got underway and out came the biggest trend in watch wear that SWATCH is offering now. Their collection of ‘POP’ watches are a new wide range of interchangeable and color-popping watches in multiple design options. Guests also satisfied their appetites with chocolate-covered popcorn in mini paper cones, jumbo sushi rolls and all kinds of ‘POP’-themed cocktails.
