Receiving the honor of a SAG Award (Screen Actors Guild Award), is possibly one of the highest accolades you can receive as an actor.  The voting is decided by 4200 randomly selected members of the union and bestowed upon the winners by the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.

This year the 19th Annual SAG Awards  were held on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.  Stars dazzled on the Red Carpet.  This has become a tradition with all award ceremonies.  As has been the case for most of the January award shows, the strapless gown was the success of the evening.  There seems to be a sophistication and regal aura about the look.

As we bid a fond farewell to ’30 Rock’, Tina Fey will definitely go out with a bang as she entered the venue in an Oscar de la Renta black strapless gown with complimenting belt to emphasize her curves.  Tina’s hair was styled with a flair for Hollywood Old Glamour.

Sally Field knows how to wow a crowd as violet seemed to be the stunning shade for her as she enjoyed the event in a J.Mendel plunging neckline gown gathered at the waist.

J. Mendel seemed to fit the bill as Jessica Lange also wore one the designers exquisite gowns in black ,looking medieval to a degree yet absolutely lovely with her blond curls.  The dress was one of the designer’s finest with cap sleeve detail and tissue pleating to finish it off.
