THE SAGA OF THE JACKSONS

Michael Jackson entertained and intrigued fans and audiences around the world. Now his children, Prince and Paris and Blanket, continue to steal the spotlight although ironically that was the one thing that Michael tried to shadow and protect his kids from. Fame has a way of taking its greedy claws and changing the souls of some stars.
The Jacksons are once again in the news and making headlines as the family feuds. Last week, rumors flew that Katherine Jackson, grandmother of the three Jackson children was reported missing. Paris began tweeting incessantly in tones of worry that her grandmother was missing. The world listened and speculation entailed.
As it turned out, Janet, Jermaine, Randy and Rebbie Jackson secretly took Katherine Jackson away to an Arizona spa retreat for some rest and relaxation, not informing the other members of the family where they were going which included Michael’s children.
Upon Katherine’s return, Prince who is the eldest of the three children, attacked his aunts and uncles in Twitter postings lashing out in anger and feeling hurt that the truth was withheld from him and the others.
Due to the sequence of events that have unfolded, Prince and Paris and Blanket were placed into the guardianship of their cousin, TJ Jackson, 34-year-old son of Tito Jackson. He will share joint custody with Katherine Jackson, the eldest matriarch of the clan, taking over the day-to-day operations and staff oversight in the home. Katherine will keep control of the children’s financial allowance from the late singer’s estate.
Due to a scuffle in the driveway on July 23, word has it that Randy and Jermaine and Janet are not permitted to visit the children. The three family members claimed that the battle over their brother’s estate was causing health problems for 82-year-old Katherine and she needed a break per the doctor’s orders. The result was the getaway to the spa.
The Jackson family seem to be forever plagued by problems associated with fame and fortune. Paris is also excited about aspirations to become an actress and is due to star in a film in the next year. Her career path is most likely not what her late father would have wanted but the talent seems to run in the family.
Let’s hope that the family does not remain too divided and that Prince and Paris and Blanket get enough love and guidance to put them on the right path for the future. This won’t be the last time that controversy is sparked, of that we are sure.
