Shopping with the Cole Twins By Hope Wilkos, Writer/Blogger

One of the greatest jazz musicians of all time is Nat King Cole. His soft baritone voice and his talent on the piano skyrocketed him to the top of the charts and his popularity continues years after he is gone.
Raymond Lee Jewelers in Boca Raton, Florida held a very memorable shopping event on Wednesday evening, April 27th to benefit Nat King Cole Generation Hope, Inc. This non-profit organization continues the legacy of Nat King Cole by providing and funding music education to children, reaching those with the greatest need and fewest resources.

The red carpet ushered in a variety of celebrities and important guests. All the beautiful jewelry displayed in the store that evening could be purchased with a portion of the proceeds from each sale going to benefit Nat King Cole Generation Hope, Inc.

The most special guests of the evening were the lovely twin daughters of Nat King Cole; Casey and Timolin Cole. They were ecstatic to see the enthusiastic turnout and meet all their supporters that came out for a very worthwhile cause.
As a tribute to the organization, Raymond Lee Jewelers unveiled a sparkling exclusive custom-designed pendant, ‘Keeping Music Alive’ dedicated to music education in schools.

The twins gave a short heartwarming speech about their organization. The goal is to promote the growth and development of children through the study, practice and performance of music. It is all about creativity and the development and fostering of self-esteem through individual accomplishment.
Sponsors for the evening included Nu-Fit Gourmet, MyIIChefs, Big G Toys Inc, Queen of Hearts by Queen Latifah, Salon Ratay, ‘So Sweet It is!’, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Top Cat and Stanley Steemer. The event was made possible thanks to the great coordination of The Transmedia Group located in Boca Raton, Florida.

Some of the celebrity guests included Cara Rosenthal, one of the all-star cast members of the current season of ‘Amazing Race’. Sherry Ratay, who is the award-winning #1 Hair Colorist in Central Florida and salon owner of Salon Ratay, was on hand as well. The very original Kesi Case, custom designer, attended dressed in a very chic creation. There was also a retired New York Congressman present for the event. Walter Shaw, famed author of ‘A License to Steal’ made an appearance as well. Jewel Figueras, known for her fashion blog, JewelsFabLife.com, was part of the celebration.

Complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres were served from 6:30 to 9:30 PM.
Overall, it was a fabulous evening with shopping and socializing for a united cause, Nat King Cole Generation Hope, Inc.
